Charming Liar
Tier 1
Skill
Requires: 1+ ranks in Deception
When you critically succeed with the Lie action, choose one target of that Lie: its attitude toward you improves one step, as if you had succeeded at Make an Impression. This happens at most once per conversation, and only one creature improves even if you critically succeed against several. The lie must matter (seemingly important information, boosting your status, ingratiating yourself); trivial lies don't count.
Lengthy Diversion
Tier 1
Skill
Requires: 1+ ranks in Deception
On a critical success to Create a Diversion, you stay hidden after your turn for at least 1 more round (GM decides how long).
Quick Disguise
Tier 1
Skill
Requires: 2+ ranks in Deception
Set up a disguise in half the time. 5+ ranks: one-tenth (about 1 minute). 9+ ranks: 1 round.
Confabulator
Tier 1
Skill
Requires: 5+ ranks in Deception
Reduce the Advantage targets gain from your previous Lies or Diversions by 1.
Slippery Secrets
Tier 1
Skill
Requires: 5+ ranks in Deception
When a spell or magical effect tries to read your mind, detect whether you're lying, or reveal your true nature, you can make a Deception check against the effect's DC. On a success, the effect reveals nothing.
