Under each Bond: its Suggested Talents.
1. Last Stand (Positive)
You held a position together against impossible odds while the rest of the line broke. Somehow you both walked away, and you've trusted each other with your lives ever since.
2. Battle Trauma (Negative)
One of you suffers deeply from what the war did to them, with nightmares and flashbacks. The other feels helpless to support them, and it strains the friendship.
3. Carried Off the Field (Positive)
When one of you fell on the battlefield, the other carried them out under fire. Neither of you talks about it much, but neither of you forgets.
4. Betrayal by a Comrade (Negative)
A trusted comrade betrayed your unit and caused a terrible defeat. Since then you've both found it hard to trust anyone, sometimes even each other.
5. Decorated Together (Positive)
You were decorated together for the same deed of courage. Your names are linked in the regiment's records, and people who know the story still treat you as a pair.
6. War Crimes (Negative)
One of you did something in the war the other can't approve of, like executing prisoners or harming civilians. It causes friction and distrust.
7. Campfire Kin (Positive)
Long marches, cold camps and shared rations made you as close as family. You know each other's habits and tells, and you can sense when the other is uneasy before a word is said.
8. Captured and Tortured (Negative)
One of you was captured and tortured by the enemy. The scars, seen and unseen, shape how you support each other.
