• Lesser (Potency 1): 1 Strain: halve extra damage from a critical hit against you.
• Greater (Potency 2): 1 Strain: ignore that extra damage.
• Major (Potency 3): 2 Strain before damage: a critical becomes a normal hit rolled with Misfortune.

Higher tiers replace (and include) lower ones and use 1 rune capacity. Materials: 50 / 200 / 800 / 2,400 sp by tier.
